I think this part is even WORSE:

"Under this new law, a doctor may withhold information, mislead or even blatantly lie to a pregnant woman and her partner about the health of their baby if the doctor so much as thinks that fetal test results would cause a woman to consider abortion."

EDIT: Why is it that all the conservatives who are pushing for smaller government want the government to intervene where it has no place? After this and the immigration law, it seems like the neocons WANT a police state. What is wrong with our country?!

Free market capitalism pandering to the upper class, but religiously like Jesus would do, using the constitution to support the right to bear arms while ignoring the civil rights aspects so that all hispanics can be screened and deported while also taking power from the government yet trying to institute a police state where private health care is the only option yet the doctors can lie to you.

That is the government the right wants us to live in, yes? Am I missing something? I had a stroke about halfway through trying to figure it out.

I can see it now. Doctors getting shot for lying to their patients. People put their lives in the hands of doctors, they cannot be misleading people.

If the doctor tells them their baby will have 6 heads and scales and the parents get an abortion, the doctor is killed by pro-lifers (ironically).

If the doctor lies to the parents and they give birth to a hydra, the doctor is later killed by the parents for telling them everything is normal (then eaten by the hydra).
