I really hate our government.

Helping Haiti is a global public relations scheme to make a country look good, and nothing else. What incentive does a industrialized country have to poor money into a 3rd-World country during a global recession.

And while it is rather harsh, I don't completely agree with being a mega-philanthropist while your own country is pretty fucked up and needs the money.
