I'm not sure where to begin with this but I'll start with...who the hell is he? He's facing sex offenses and wins the Dem nomination for South Carolina senate after spending virtually no money and did no campaigning?
I don't know if anyone saw it on the news but he did a speech today that was worse than my little cousin in a school play. It was hand written, double spaced, on spiral notebook paper. How can this guy get the nomination, this has to be some kind of republican plant, or something is going on behind the scenes. Alvin Greene Makes 1st Campaign Speech |

I seriously doubt he's a plant, the incumbent there, Jim Demint, wasn't in any sort of position to lose. Plus im sure they could find a better plant then this guy. I think there has been alot of speculation about the fact that his name was above the supposed shoe in, Vic Rawl, on the ballot. Maybe this Vic Rawl guy just ran a poor, uninspiring campaign, similar to how Scott Brown got elected. And obviously the guy who got beat is going to make accusations of tampering, he's probabbly embarassed.
Anyway the Huffinton post had this to say about it, if you hadn't already read it. Although it reads almost like an Onion article. Michael Sigman: Alvin Greene's South Carolina Win: The Inside Scoop |

Even if Vic Rawl ran a poor campaign, I find it hard to believe that someone who didn't run ANY kind of campaign could get the majority just with his name above the other on the ballot. I'm not talking no commercials, I mean no signs, website, public gatherings. He was kicked out of the army, lives with his parents, is facing porn charges. The list goes on and on. Interesting article, but I think it's a crock. If the guy really was getting checks directed to a soul singer, then there's bank fraud right there. With that last comment in mind from Micheal Sigman, I discredit the entire article, even Faux News (who just got a woman fired in the agricultural division by editing clips of her speech and the idiots that watched it) wouldn't go that far.
Obviously he had to pay the 10,000+ to get on the ballot, the problem is he is unemployed! He had to get that money from somewhere or someone. The guys PR people are flat out refusing almost all interviews, clearly they are afraid of a reporter asking a question about finances, where he got the money, etc. When he is asked questions it comes back "no comment". I'm not ruling out a plant, it sounds way too similar to the Rod Shealy thing. He got 60% of the vote.....are South Carolinian's really that stupid? |
