Even as a person who doesn't use and could care less, I don't understand why marijuana is even in the same caliber as alcohol. How many deaths, car accidents, domestic abuse cases, and a plethora of other things are caused by marijuana? Diddly squat jack.
It seems like everyone and their grandmother,(seriously) does it anyways.... The government might as well make some money off of it rather then drug cartels Lawlz.

It will take less than 4 hours for Mexico to legalize it following California.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. If it passes what effects it has on the state as far as crime rates. What effects it has on the drug war in Mexico. See what other states follow suit (Co?). For the most part I see the "medical" thing as a joke, from what I understand you can get a card for anything so why not just legalize it across the board. I wonder what the Feds response will be if it does pass. |

I'm a pretty strong believer in constantly questioning the way things are, and one thing I notice is that when people get into that groove of complacency they will think every law is right, simply because it's a "law". Don't question authority, legal or moral issues, you might loose Nascar time.
If you were to have an intelligent debate with one of those people, chances are they would come up tremendously short with any strong point, but I guess it doesn't matter because you know they will play the, "It's Wrong! It's the Law! Glen Beck Said So!" Btw.... ![]() Is it just me or does he look like he was pulled STRAIGHT from the Gestapo

It'll be legal somewhere soon enough. It doesn't look like atm that Proposition 19 is going to pass in Cali though. Too bad, but the opposition knows that once one state passes legalization others will start to fall like domino's. Expect a round II or III to be successful.

I dunno, I think it stands a good chance from the sample polls, 51% are in favor, 34% against, 15% undecided. The comments on the LA times article about prop 19 pretty much reflects that. Read the comments, some are pretty funny.
