Politicians will always suck, no matter where you go or who they are... because, well... they are people... or, better yet, they are that special kind of people we hate most, because there is no other better way than becoming like that to convince a whole country to vote for you. I'm sure by now that you all know that sole honesty almost NEVER prevails by itself in this situation, considering power is kept only between private circles. They all suck and they all do something wrong eventually, we just have to vote the one that seems to suck less IMO... Don't beat yourself up too much.

See we all mistaken the guy for Super Obama. He's just a man, with the GOP stonewalling him and the rest of the D party caring only about their seats.
On top of that, half of the population putting back R in the Senate. What do you expect really? When most politicians are literally working for Corporate America? They leave the political world to became CEO of the companies they just overviewed...or viceversa...those connections are
amazingly hard to bat...

Be realistic!

I have of course expected this from most politicians regardless of party; although I have always known that Republicans were scum. I just really thought that this guy might be the one who truly was different. For me, the 2008 election was not a "lesser of two evils" I was actually stoked to vote for the man. Will I vote for him in 2012? without question, but sadly it will really be just a vote against the Republican.
I agree with you...I was stoked too..and I really don't get this freaking reaching accross the aisle"....fuck that! kick them in the balls instead!
