So what does everyone think of Olbermanns departure at MSNBC? I was always a fan, mostly because he exposed right wing pundits for the morons they narually are. But I find it disturbing that it comes after the merger of Comcast and NBC and there's been speculation that new management forced the decision.
It's no secret that Olbermann is a liberal, so is comcast ending a conflict of interest by subscribing to a more pro corporate political agenda by splitting with him? |

Well I guess that's not totally true, I watch Dexter, Weeds, NFL, South Park, etc... I have no use for the "political shows" that are just fronts for the corporate/big government nazis. Neither side gives two shits about anyone but themselves |

I liked him. liked his show a few years back better than recently. it served its greatest purpose during the bush years because he was one of the only people on tv calling out the bush administration for their flagrant bullshit. he was one of the first to loudly question the iraq war when the rest of the media was still beating the war drum. recently his act had gotten a little stale. the left doesn't really require a pied piper the way the right does anyway. most liberals are free thinkers. we don't need our own version of rush limbaugh or fox news telling us what to do, how to act, and how to think and vote. we have brains of our own (unlike the right)
