Well the republicans want to cut some, but of course not out of the military. Kind of impossible to make a dent in the budget without military cuts.

they should be fucking ashamed if they had any shame. fucking assholes. this country wastes billions upon billions on pointless bullshit and yet the first thing they try to cut is any program for the poor. here's an idea, how bout we end the empire. shut down the bases in germany, saudi arabia, japan, and korea. that alone could save a trillion dollars a year.

and people are obviously sick of hearing that bush ruined everything and all these problems were created by the previous administration but the fact of the matter is that the point can't be emphasized enough. people need to grasp exactly just how fucked up the previous administration was and how they fucked everything on every level of gov't.

I picture Obama like a housekeeper who showed up at an animal house type frat house on a sunday morning with the assignment of cleaning the place up.

the saddest thing is that presidential policies and agendas can take decades to take full effect. we are still feeling the disastrous effects of Reagan policies from 30 years ago and even from Nixon policies. the American people have the attention span of fruit fly. and with the 24 hour news cycles even huge stories are completely forgotten about within days.
