Walker takes broad swipe at public employee unions
:-/ This equates a 7.5% pay cut for me. As well as the union being dismantled. I'm not a huge fan of the union, but it has prevented our benefits and wages from being eviscerated by every two-bit republican. |

Another step towards making America a tyranny state. Apparently as citizens of a democratic society, our opinions and concerns no longer count.

well my loss is either going to be my house or my job, depending on which one I want to keep. that and my in-laws talking to me, because I told them off for voting for this clown lol. not that it's a big loss. well really it's no loss at all.

apparently of all the things wrong with this country; out of all the problems we have; the number one thing (according to republicans) is public employees who make 50,000 dollars a year. they should take pay cuts. meanwhile bigger bonuses for wall street execs are also in order. we need to go back to the good old days of the 1870's.

While I don't have major issues with public employee unions in general, there are some major issue with the teacher and police unions around here. Our cops earn ~ $115k after 5 years. Civil service is great and all but $115k is double what the average college grad is making. It's not like Suffolk County is a gangland....
Sorry to hear you got stiffed.

I don't think thats part of a normal union policy, I think that's part of local governmental corruption... That sounds like where I used to live, Vallejo,CA. The government was so corrupted there, the police chief was getting paid like 400k a year, and the city ended up going bankrupt, despite selling a major theme-park.
