Default Anthony Weiner's Weiner

Stay classy. It's hilarious that this sleaze bag hasn't resigned already. I'm sure his family is very proud of him.

He is extremely selfish. Not only does he bring unwanted attention to the Democrats, by staying out he is prolonging the disgrace and the GOP is going to use every opportunity to tie his actions with the Democrats.

Sleezebag? Him and everyone else.

It's like Clinton, what does it have to do with Politics? They all do it, it's just a matter of who gets caught.

Why are we so obsessed with upholding fundamental public morality standards when you know in reality, him and everyone else - probably including yourself break them in private? I do not care what people do with their private lives so long as they do their job... everything else is irrelevant.

People should resign for making bad decisions and failing the people they represent, not for things that have nothing to do with their job.

Oh yeah, it's totally commonplace for all married 45 year olds to send texts of their cock to multiple women 20 years younger than them. As for his so-called "private life", it was no longer "private" when he decided to introduce Anthony Jr on Twitter. Even if you think your private life is irrelevant and admire congressmen like this douchebag, it's the fact that he posted his cock online and then proceeded to lie about it and blame Republicans for "hacking" his account. Says a lot about his character that he didn't just come out and admit it, much like Clinton and his moronic statement about the meaning of the word "is".

I'd like to see you sms your boss a photo of you shooting crystal meth and doing blow off a stripper's ass, just to see exactly how 'irrelevant' your private life is. I'm sure he won't mind.

And that's my point, what the hell does that have to do with my performance as an employee? Absolutely nothing, he/she would fire me because I would give the company a bad image.

I find that in politics, we are far more interested in someone's public image then we are with their actual performance - which leads to a bunch of idiots in power, who are simply good at hiding their secrets.

Tell me, when someone gets elected for a position, what is the main strategy their opponent takes advantage of to discredit them? It's not their policies or ideas, it's their personal life and so-called moral choices. They go for the personal aspect of their opponent, not the political. In the context of our double-standard vanity society, it's just far more effective to pull skeletons out of closets then it is to come up with a legitimate counterargument.

There is no doubt what he did was stupid, I'm not defending that. I'm just using it to make a point about how our obsession with a perfect artificial public image triumphs over reason, progress and results.

No need to get butt hurt. If you don't care, then why did you read the thread? Also Clinton was impeached because he lied under oath, not because of a BJ.

I'm hardly 'obsessed' with the dude's pecker. I just think it's funny how his entire party wants him gone, yet he's clinging on and encouraging all the attention he's getting in the news.
