The government WILL collapse SOON

Stansberry's Investment Advisory (WATCH THIS!)

This is a 45 minute video, but it will pull you in immediately and you can get the basis after 4 minutes or so.
The US Dollar is the world's reserve currency, and as we pay back our debt to everyone we need to print TRILLIONS of dollars, destroying it's value. If countries decide that they want us to pay them back in another currency or disvalue the dollar, all of our prices will skyrocket overnight.

This has been long coming, and I am honestly rethinking my views on our government because of this. I've always considered myself liberal, but the democrats raising the debt ceiling made matters worse in my opinion. I'm starting to think that the tea partiers and OWS group have some VERY valid points. While I still disagree with almost all of their other ideas, I think we need to do something about this fast. Honestly, I think it's too late and this is happening no matter what. I've been preparing by moving my savings to a credit union for when the banks fail and our government can't assume their debt. Might even invest some of it while I still can.

What is your take on this? The evidence is very compelling, and the way things have been lately it makes much sense and fills in the blanks. It's pretty scary.

well people need goods and services, and other people are willing/able to provide those goods and services.

governments fuck it all up, but the basics for an economy will always be there.

as long as I can make turns in snow, catch fish, and fall asleep in a warm bed with food in my stomach, I'll be just fine.

If we go down, the whole world goes down. We are the world police and without us many countries will have to spend a lot of money for national security.

its gonna happen but it will not be as bad as this guy explains at all

Super positive there Snowolf. Anarchy reigns!

Everything goes in waves and none of this is new in the overall picture while the specifics might change these sort of things happen to all countries once or twice a century. Governments might default, companies will go under but in the end things will come out the other side of the tunnel.

so naive...

let me edit this: In order for USA to continue being the world leader, it has to cause instability in different regions of the world such as middle east or eastern europe. As a result, it will continue dominating the world.

We don't have to do anything. We have become the action hand of the U.N. If you take the entire world's military budget and multiply it by two, it almost equals ours. Ever since WWII we have just been accepted to always be there when a nation needs help. The Gulf War, Korea, Vietnam. To be fair Vietnam and Korea were also to contain communism, but it was a U.N. war. Almost all of those troops were American.

I actually like being in this situation though. It's nice knowing we may have some major problems, but come on. This is on of the best places on the planet. Some of the best security on the planet with amazing freedoms. How many of us here are ridiculously poor and living in a box. Well, none of us because we all have the internet. We have it pretty damn good here.

Your so called "Police" are the very people who have started (in one way or another) most of the wars in the last 50 years. Why? because the US sell arms to the world and that mega business needs war.

Also hope you are aware that the US sold arms to the "taliban" in Afghanistan and to Iraq and Iran and just about everyone else you care to mention.

War is one of your biggest exports.

I would add that this is beyond just the USA (so don't take it too personally).
It just so happens that many mega companies that feed on war are based in the USA and have huge pull in your government and foreign policy.

As snowwolf said growing and storing some food is a wise move right now. Even if the shit doesn't fully implode (I think it will in the next year or two ) it won't hurt to have some provisions in place.

A split board and some skins might be good two just in case the lifts stop. ;)

Physical gold is not the way to go. Currency's are, but to know where to move is the billion dollars question.

Fact: the Euro is done for.

Also, that video is made to sell something to "investors", pushing a product= fake. No, the world as we know it will not end abruptly.

Doomsdayers have been around for as long as there was something to fear.

So you're saying that USA spends so much money on military so that they can be the hero of other countries.. Don't get me wrong I live in USA too and I don't have anything against USA. I actually find the economic structure and the politics very successful, and grateful for the opportunities it provided me so far.. I mean, just think of it: Geographically, which country has the naval power to come to US soil and attack USA? NONE, US navy controls the oceans, no ship can go undetected.. Spending 2 times more than the total of the world is maybe 5 times more than what it supposed to spend to keep it secure for the people living in USA.

Also:
USA does not get involved in a war unless it sees the potential danger if it does not get involved. Do you think that USA would have the power it has today if it didn't distrupt the stability in asia and europe 20-30 years ago? NO

Or do you think USA has been always this successful in the economic or military arena? NO.. USA rose to success after the cold war...

When it comes to helping other countries, it definitely does its part in helping times of a natural disaster, but bringing peace or democracy to a region is totally BS.
