So who does everyone go to for unbiased news? There is so much bullshit from the left and right, so much mis-information from kooks and conspiracy nuts. Where does one go to get the straight news? Is there such a legit agency?

I listen to NPR all day at work and anytime I get in the car for a road trip "This American Life" is right there with me. |

+1 Those guys get closer to cutting thru the BS than anyone and get laughs doing it.
There is no single trusted source anymore. Media outlets need to make money and that means advertising. Advertisers want the biggest bang for the buck and that means whoever reaches the most people. Sadly, this means giving your market the news and the bias they want to hear. If you want something closer to the truth, read and listen to all sources. The "truth" is generally somewhere in between opposing viewpoints. Sadly, the internet has made it all much harder by vastly increasing the BS. |

I wouldn't trust anything on TV, BBC might be an exception. I read the NY Times and while it's liberal leaning, I like it a lot better then most outlets. For radio NPR is great.
