ShredLife, I'm taking this opportunity to say that I noticed your (similar) posts in the Penn State thread from a while back. And I have to say, I'm happy to know there are people like you out there.

If Joe Paterno was half the man you seem to be, perhaps his death would be tragic and shocking rather than seemingly deserving.

lol thanks.. although there probably aren't a lot of people out there with as little respect for the human race as i have... i think humans have put too much emphasis on the sanctity of human life, and if you're a piece of shit you should just be killed.

I fail to see flaw in this logic haha. When people do harm against children and animals, that is where I red-line.

I didn't follow the thread (read only the first couple of pages) so I might have missed that. No worries, Wolfie; I know you're that kind of good guy, too

So, this might be TMI, but I feel it's important to share. I personally know men and women this kind of shit has happened to, when they were children (could be why it's red-line territory to me). And I will say, it has fucked them up in so many ways then and throughout their lives. It's not something someone can just get over - it stays with a person and carries deep levels of trauma.

I didn't read the entire article that was linked, but I can understand where the author is coming from. It seems like a reasonable reaction to the glorification of the death/life of some asshole pos who could have prevented this from happening to a kid (or many kids).

I agree that he should rot in hell.

Side note/slight rant: So Saturday night I was at my local hill with a friend. We were in the rental shop; I was using their counter and Philips head to fix my friend's rental set up he picked up elsewhere (he told them he was regular when he's goofy, so I had to switch the bindings and set up a better stance and angles for him; they were old Flows and I've never used Flows so it was taking me awhile to figure them out and that damn top web didn't lift up!). Anyway, while we were in the shop, the news broke. A young kid working the rental counter said he was "so devastated, was such a Penn State/Joe Pa fan," he felt he "couldn't be at work." Yeah. So I pipe up with "Fuck him" "that fucker deserves to rot in hell" etc, etc. (I used to work in the trucking industry and can "swear like a trucker" when needed haha) I wasn't obnoxious but vocal. My friend was embarrassed I think. Wtf are people thinking?!

Ha, yeah I know...I've noticed a few of your posts around here I worked for a van line for about 5 years, in relo specifically. I've had many friends who were/are drivers and dated a couple as well (even lived with one for a long time). So I'm "fluent" in swearing like a trucker. Once, I convinced one of the guys I dated to let me drive his fully loaded Kenworth T2000...it was fun, but when I saw him trembling and beginning to perspire, I suggested we swap seats

I am the same way; couldn't agree more.

Apart from not being a hunter (I'm vegan, actually). But my dad (now deceased) used to bow hunt, and like you, hunted and fished only for food, not sport. He never took a shot that wasn't spot on - he didn't want to hit the deer and take the chance it would suffer from a poor shot. I used to track with him when I was a little girl and he taught me to fish. I'm a hell of a fisherman as a result, but don't fish anymore, not even catch and release. I'm a pretty good shot, too, but that could be genetics lol.

Anyway, the reason I mention that is because although my beliefs are different than someone elses, I respect their right to their choice (vegan vs hunter, for example). All that goes out the window and the rules change when someone does intentional, torturous harm to an animal or child. I'm right there with ya, just have yet to get my gun permit lol.

Sorry for going OT, but it is a small world. And, for the record, I have yet to see compelling enough evidence to prove that CheeseForSteeze is in fact, not a cyborg Just kidding, Cheese (if you happen to be on here) Take it as a compliment, as you seem to be rather intellectual.

Those are some intense rigs, Snowolf! That KW tanker is a beast! Hard to tell, but looks in the pic like the Frieghtliner has what, two 53' trailers?? One of the guys I mentioned earlier has a circa 90s Freightliner Magnavan; have you ever seen one? The front half trailer is connected to the tractor and the 5th wheel is behind the front trailer. Makes tight spots a lot easier and has a better turn radius than a regular tractor trailer, plus you can disconnect the trailer and have (essentially) a straight truck. However, it's still closer to the total length of a regular one...yours look a lot longer than that. Whoa, those road conditions! Takes a lot to navigate a rig through that, I bet!
