Not really. The polar caps are almost certainly CO2. That's why they completely disappear in summer, despite temps that we'd consider subarctic.
We think there may still be subsurface water. We certainly hope so. But "know" is too strong a word.

Basically anyone can say anything and declare it as truth. It all depends on how much time, resources and money the other person is willing to spend to find out if that declaration is indeed true.

Yeah I'm the epitome of an Indigo. Your point is true, but from the fact that reality is what you make of it. How one experiences reality is just as real as how you and I or anyone else for that matter, experience reality. There is no one truth.
