I think my point was that people that are extreme to the left brain, are no better than the zealots that are extreme to the right brain. I think the word you're looking for is faith. And no its not. If I believe in astral projection, is that religious? In some religions, that's quite the opposite, it's considered blasphemy. How about worm holes? I think that again is the opposite of being religious, no?

Yes, good point what I meant to say was:

Science is about believing things because of what we know and can prove. Faith (the foundation of all religion) is about what people believe despite what we know and can prove.
