Washington State set to legalize cannabis.

not sure how the poll #s look in CO. probably not enough $$ behind it in OR for it to pass, but it looks right now like WA will go ahead and pass a bill to legalize for recreational use...

thoughts?

It doesn't bother me either way, but seems like a good way to fund some of the social service programs that have been cut the last few years. That, r maybe they can use the revenue to cover the bridge an tunnel projects so
I don't have to pay tolls.

It may not be outright legal in Denver... but there are more fucking dispensaries than Starbucks here!!!!

Denver Now Has More Marijuana Dispensaries Than It Does Starbucks

Might as well be legal:p I don't partake but also don't give a shit what other people do:dunno:

do you know how the legalization initiative is polling out there?

i heard WA was like 60% pro

I'd be less focused on potential tax revenue and more on money saved through decriminalization. How much money does this country waste fighting "The War On Drugs"?

ShredLife 10-10-2012 09:13 PM

unfortunately the prison-legal-industrial-complex is exactly the reason that cannabis has remained illegal this long. the courts make $, the prisons make $, the lawyers make $, prison guards get work, get to hire more cops, on and on it goes.

With big money, efforts to legalize pot in CO and WA no joke - KLTV.com-Tyler, Longview, Jacksonville, Texas | ETX News

Looks like 51% support in CO

I have no problem with it being legal, I would just like it to be taxed at a rate equal to smokes. I would then like to see all the tax funds set aside for rehab etc... so I dont have to pay for it with my tax dollars.
