1. Bullshit. Post up your sources, not snowolf fact. For every case you post where someone defending their home had charges pressed against them and a conviction that resulted in jail time, I guarantee I can post 5 where there were no charges pressed.

2. Not once did I ever say that decision should be taken lightly

3. I'm very far from the gun nut. You conceal carry as you posted, I don't. I find it to restricting to the stuff I normally do. The only time I've carried is when at work in the ghetto on the west side of chicago.

911 dispatch said that they didn't need him to get out of the car (or whatever). Not quite the same as the cops telling him to back off. Having said that, I also think Zimmerman should have backed the hell off.

I know this isn't the Martin discussion thread but having said what I did about backing off, the second the kid started bashing dude's head into the concrete he signed his own death certificate.

Not arguing with you there either. When I said cops told him to back off I meant dispatch... Completely different story there then being actively robbed by someone with a weapon or someone breaking into your home. Still waiting on a response from Snowolf but I guess it isn't coming.

While I do agree there should be tighter controls on the private sale of firearms, this ban is ridiculous. I don't like this type of thing, a vaguely worded bill rammed through by an emotional agenda after a tragedy. That's how we ended up with the Patriot act. So now, even though I went through the whole process legally, paid for BG checks and permits, I have to go through it all again (and pay a bunch more $$ I'm guessing) This bill will do nothing to stop mass shootings, and only serves to harass and squeeze more money out of law abiding citizens. Anyone that thinks ANY of the assholes in Gov't are there for YOUR best interest is a fucking FOOL!! Why do any of you think the congressional approval rating is so low, NO ONE believes their bullshit anymore and they are freaking out about it(ok 9-11% still buy it) .
