No one said police had an easy job. No one said they were not human. However, the fact that they have a hard job, and that they are human, does not give the liscene to abuse their postions of power.


It isn't? Then tell us what it IS a case of. I am quite interested to hear why you think that level of force was justifed, and what the basis for that justifcation is.

If your going to make blanket statements, I'll do the same. Cops want power, not saftey and security. I can not even begin to tell you the shit I have dealt with and police for SKATEBOARDING. I've seen cops put skaters in hadcuffs, beat them, and then let them go. Nothing to do with security. Nothing to do with saftey. Everything to do with (abuse of) power.

as if to imply that the only way a cop can do wrong is to kill someone? How many people have died from police shooting first and asking questions later?

Sorry, that argument does not cut it. Law enforcement SHOULD be held to a high standard of care than the common street thug.

seems odd they would have that many cops for one car if there wasn't something going on, even if they were on edge about another getting killed. but, i dont really see how beating people like is described in it is ever necessary. a cop's job is not to beat someone, it's to arrest them, make em face justice. a hit or two might be necessary to subdue someone, but

that can never be justified. the fact that there is no report from any of the officers makes it seem even more sketchy. wouldn't they want to defend themselves immediately if they didn't do anything wrong? or do they need to create a nice story first?


saying that all cops suck or all cops are good is too extreme. some are power tripping assholes, some are nice and honest people. i've had many run ins with police and experienced all kinds. most of them have sucked though, sadly. i once got a jaywalking ticket at 3am when there wasn't another soul in sight. they put my friend in the back of the cop car for it too, because he was shocked about why we were getting the ticket.
my roomate was waiting for his brother on the sidewalk in front of a building, and 2 cops came up to him and asked him what he was doing. he told him "waiting for my brother", then the cop asks "have you been drinking". "yeah" he says. "where's your fake id?" (my friend looks young). he said "what fake id?". then the cop yells "he's resisting" and tackled him, put him in handcuffs and put him in the car.

While none of this anywhere close to Rodeny King, the point I am making is the use of excsesive force. Additionally, I have SEEN much much worse than any of the youtube clips above. If you choose not to believe me, then fine. I know sometimes people don't want to believe bad things happen. Truth is, they often do.

if you admit they did wrong, then the story is over. You don't get to say in a court of law, "Yeah, I shot the guy, but I was a little edgy from something that happened two days ago."
