it is a valid point about experience. it was the basis for why i thought it 'too little too soon' when he first announced his effort to run.
Clinton, with more experience (and a growing audience of critics) to me signified a turning point in US politics, that would illustrate to the world, that the sole remaining super power had progressed on from the 'old boys network' governments usually seem to be.
having two 'minorities' running against each other would obviously give wouldbe dem voters too much choice and ultimately divide and conquer them, with the spoils going to the republicans, even after the mire formed by the Bush dynasty!
as it stands, this dem battle has been the longest and most expensive ever! does that sound like these are two candidates best suited to do what is best for the people they hope to serve?
meanwhile, the inexperience of obama can be remedied by observing the success he has enjoyed in what little he has attempted. of course he cannot be all things to all men, but one hopes the commander in chief can install and preside over lesser minions who are more experienced..... and so really, an extensive history is somewhat a moot point.
Just coz you don't understand it
Doesn't mean it makes no sense!
