Again, read my post. I'd rather have Bush as president than Cheney. How sad a commentary is that?

This doesn't show that Kucinich has balls. it shows he's a publicity starved douche with little to no grasp of our own constitution and is willing to tie up congress with something that not only won't go anywhere but will result in nothing since HE'S LEAVING OFFICE IN A FEW MONTHS!! Why not focus on passing something... shit anything.

This is why I hate congress and the ignorant sheep that blindly follow these people.

They want to see us change. Hell they're probably tired of hearing about us all together. The only time Bush is going to spend in leavenworth is if he goes on a damn tour. Our best bet is to move forward and stop dwelling on the past. There's nothing to change in the past, only the future.
We redeem ourselves with our future actions.

so here i am, verging on 'quoting for truth' the post by wolfie...

the suggestion of non-public support for Bush's crimes; the enforcement of credability by ensuring accountability....

but then, i find myself wanting to 'quote for truth' the mutterings of mooz...

saying it is a fantasy; that no one cares; people will only wish to see actual change....

well hows about this move to change and a foreign policy of reconcilliation... starting by clearing up current messes and impeaching into accountability the guilty.

we CAN have both!

What courage? The guy is introducing something that will have zero impact especially since Bush is out of office soon. Kucinich knows it's going no where. That it won't move along because... Bush is out of office in 6 months. Courage would have been doing this 3 years ago. Right now this douche is just looking for a great sound byte to use in his next campaign. He cares for little else.

He's doing it now because it's safe. There's no real chance of anything happening. There's nothing to respect when someone pulls some shit like this.

As for my dwelling on the past thing, I think you're taking my comment a bit out of context. Wasting time in congress trying to impeach a guy who will be out of office before they can even finish impeachment procedings in the house is a stupid waste of time and dwelling on an era that has passed. Not that we should forget all about it. We should be spending that time introducing legislation to prevent this from happening again and FIXING the current fiasco. Sadly the hill seems to only care about the best way to win a re-election for all their delegates coming up this november.
