So i called the local ski resort to check the current snow pack, and what i heard was, For English press one, para espanol whatever press 2.
i disagree with doing this for the minorities because in America we speak english. if we went to Mexico there's no press 2 for English anywhere. you must learn the native language. and we need to stop babying them |

I don't really think it will change for the USA. We are from all over the world. The original inhabitants, the native Americans, were almost entirely wiped out. I like that not everyone here is the same. I'd get sick of seeing nothing but fat white people all day. I love hearing other languages and seeing other cultures. I used to drive through a part of downtown Indy for college that had been taken over by Mexican families. All of the shops had Spanish signs and I couldn't understand a thing. It was like being in another country for 3 blocks. People even ignored the law. They just crossed the street wherever and whenever they wanted and usually in long lines. It was so crazy. I called it the Copa Cabana.
Anyways, I don't mind the other languages we accommodate, but I still think that you should learn English to work here, just because it is our national language. |
