Oh god Thursday is looking like an epic day...looks like im working late tommorrow to see if i can take Thursday off..
Worst case im leaving early and doing Thursday night/Friday...im not passing up these last few pow days of the season...8-12 expected Wednesday night...6-8 Thursday ...oh yea...
I have it in the locker room but don`t generally ride with it. If I am expecting a call, I can. The easiest way to find me is to swing by the lineup area. Tonight, I will be there ar 3:45 PM and 6:15 PM for 15 minutes each lineup. On Thu/Fri add the 12:45 PM one...we can also try to make a plan and I can request to not teach a particular lineup.
It was`nt bad at all. Yeah, there was a little rain/snow mix, but the snow was soft and though a little sticky, very fun. I lapped Heather Canyon all afternoon. It started full on snowing about 4:00 PM and did`nt let up all night. It was a very wet and heavy snow, but the riding was very fine.
Yea i figured it would get good later at night, didnt get out of town until 4..got stuck in traffic wouldnt have gotten there till 6:30....so i just said screw it
Damn responsibility is keeping me off the mountain in what is probably the best week all season. But, I'm heading out to Crystal on Thursday next week, so hopefully the snow will stick around just a little longer. I really need to get back to Stevens though, or even up to Baker. I live so close, yet so far away from all these great mountains. :/

One of these years, I need to quit working so many days at Meadows and travel to our local resorts. I want to hit White Pass, Crystal, Stevens and Baker for sure!
Today and tonight was phenomenal! Not really much new snow, but the conditions were great overall from wind loading. Everything was soft and filled in off piste real well. Jefferson Glade was the shit as no one was hitting it and we blasted through the tight trees in the steeps, spraying rooster tails of powder.
After the 6:30 lineup, I lapped 1 bowl; hiking up above blue chair and dropping into 1 bowl from the cliff band at the top. The wind had filled that in and the pow was easily 2 to 3 feet deep and untracked. It was surprising how good it was considering the very light amount of new snow we picked up; the wind was definitely our friend tonight!
