Snow at Whistler, too!
Whistler Blackcomb - Web Cams - Whistler

SilverStar has some trace snow at the top.

it's pretty much that time of year that anywhere over 4000 ft should start to see fairly regular snowfall

4" of fresh at Steven's Pass in the last 24 hours. A good start, but I doubt it'll last longer than a few days.

You know whats weird Snowolf is that on Meadows page they quote the Farmers almanac for early winter
Quote:
Winter temperatures and precipitation will be near normal, on average, with above-normal snowfall. The coldest periods will occur in early to mid- and late December, mid-January, and early to mid-February, with the snowiest periods in mid-December, early January, and mid-February.
Which is pretty much exactly opposite of what you said certain sources were giving. I understand that forecasting weather is a science, but damn...you'd think there would be some sort of consistency...how can you call it anything near accurate if 5 different sources give you 5 different answers ...

From Timberline's website:

"Winter is around the corner and Timberline has great things in store for guests this winter. An El Nino system is predicted to influence our winter weather here in the Pacific Northwest, and if weather forecasters are right, it sounds like we’re in for lots of snow at Timberline’s 6,000-foot elevation!"

I wonder how much snow Timberline needs before they'll open Palmer back up. Anybody have any idea?
