I looked for you around 12:30ish out there but didnt see ya so went to look for my buddies in the bar Snowolf...

Today was fucking ridiculous...it was pretty tracked out on most of the mountain but there were some really sweet spots on Shooting Star..i just stayed there lapping it over and over again..lines werent nearly as bad as MHX...

And i know what you mean about bad people...its mostly because everybody and their entire fucking family tree, alive or dead was at Meadows today it seems. (Thats not me, just some random person) I left the MHX side as fast as possible after doing one run and sitting in the singles line for 15 minutes...fuck that the line was like 40 people deep way up the hill...

Its actually funny you mention it, i was maybe 15th chair...coming down off the lift to the HRM side...maybe 10 seconds down the hill cutting back and forth trying to pass as many people as i could(safely) and hit some spots before others(weeee!)...i see this chick going down at a average pace going back and forth..then she cuts right over in front of me..no biggie i think as i get ready to pass her on the right side as she goes left and then it happens...she then does a instantaneous skid stop right in front of me in the middle of the run..maybe 2 feet in front of me..i slam hard onto my heel edge and slide so try to cut back on my toe side...and..scorpions away..face first ...shes like OOPS and just rode off without even saying anything or asking if i was ok(i was due to all the pow, but regardless)...shes lucky i didnt just plow right into her..in fact i dont think i even hit her or her board...

I really want to go tommorrow..Sunday looks like an even more epic day..but ive been up Friday and today and im beat to hell...i was carving new trails on Shooting Star the entire day...just went down Discovery straight to Voyager...it wasnt an incredibly interesting ride ...but the lines were short and nobody was going on Voyager ..so i figured pow turns are pow turns regardless if its a mild blue run...

And once again i fail to see your PM Snowolf...one of these days ill remember to read the forums before i head out or check them on my iphone while im up there.:d I just gotta leave here at like 6am and im not thinking of much that early other than that i want more sleep.

On Friday got a chance to finally use my MotionX Gps app on my iphone, its not perfect but it does keep track of where i go fairly well..far from perfect showing me cutting directly through tree's i never went into..was kinda a cruiser day getting my feet under me again...although having a way to clock my speed made me try going faster and faster

Saw quite a few people lose their ski's in a crash..one guys started goin down the hill under SStar lift at the botom and just disappeared into the powder...dunno if he ever found it. A buddy told me he saw a snowboarder DROP his board off of the highest part of MHX lift near the top...we pondered how the hell that is possible, but just gave up and figured he was a dumbass...

Saw several people show up at 2:30 as we were leaving..not sure why they would bother with an hour left...whatever...

Haha...poor timing...I was inside changing into my jacket as I had a Private 2 hour at 12:45; you missed me by about 2 minutes......

I rode blue chair most of the day since there were no lines on it and rode the Bowls and the Face where there were fewer people. Middle Fork Gully was really nice. I dropped Elevator Shaft which comes out on North Canyon then dropped into Middle Fork Gully coming out on Breezeway. It was pretty decent and the terrain screa off a lot of the weekend warriors...

Kepp the PM handy....anytime you are up on a Thursday or a Friday, I will be at linup at 12:45 PM and now that we are opening for nights next week (rumor) I will also be there at 3:45 PM and 5;45 PM...

No shit! They were clocking 100 MPH winds and 26 was closed due to whiteout conditions. Now there are massive delays on 26 due to downed trees across the road. They did pick up 15 inches. Looks like we get a break for about 12 hours, then the next round comes in. It is a warm system and it is expected to bring rain below 7,000 on turkey day, then go back to snow on Friday. Bad time to even think about back country!

Well that was windy.

Wish I had a kite.

More than one downed tree on the access road and HWY 35.

Sad to hear of another accident on 26. More life flights and fatalities than any section of road in Oregon.
