Yep, left about 1:30.
Hard to be less poor than the Grizz, and you're still a young whippersnapper at 33.
I know what you're saying about saving the cash for the good days. It's one of the great things about having a pass, you go on the less than perfect days and sometimes you get really lucky. Late tomorrow afternoon might be one of those "lucky" times.
I guess you might feel like you are tied to one place, but you sure get in a lot more riding days without having to pay added travel expenses. How much is a pass anyway, like two trips worth of expenses? You can still travel when conditions look epic but you'll log in many more days per season with your close to home pass.
If a pass for $400+ seems like a lot, buy the $99 spring pass. You'll get the most fun for your $$$$.

You have to go to Mt. Baker at least once, and if you haven't been to Bachelor you are missing out on the longest one lift tree runs I have ever done, you can not do it with out sitting down at least once. Cornice drops in the trees, Amazing.

We always hit Baker on the way to Whistler to break up the drive. Fun place, I'd like to watch the Banked Slalom some time.
Flatchelor isn't one of my PNW favorites. They can get good snow, but the terrain is a bit boring. The trees are OK but I hate the flat run outs back to the lift.

Save the money from the "rainy days" and take a weekend trip, I promise you will thank me.
The best memories I have of snowboarding are always going to be trips from different Mts.
If you buy a seasons pass you are stuck at that mountain.

I'll counter with... save the money from a couple weekend trips to buy a pass. You'll thank me when you hit some unforecasted fresh pow, with an empty mountain, because people thought conditions would be too drizzly and not "great".
