It's gonna be a bit icy and choppy until at least mid-late december. Basically until they open up 75% of the mountain, but certainly cruisable if you're dying to

I was up there the other day. Really good for this time of year, gets a little scraped off by after lunch but you can't expect too much more than that right now. Going back this sunday. They still have the 2 for 1 tickets available through the 15th http://www.killington.com/winter/2for1/2for1-skimag

I was up there on Sunday.A good portion of the mountain was open. They had a great rail park going. Fun pre-season features.

It's like plastic says, its more man-made stuff than anything. It lasts until about 1 PM, then gets a little too scraggly.

I got one of the early bird tickets back in October that is good for when ever for $40 so i was debating weather or not to go but it sounds like i should just save it until January. I wanted to see what the super pipe was like any way so i guess it's better that i stay home but i hate waiting...

Killington, VT Weather Forecast from Weather Underground

I'm thinking Sunday or early next week will be pretty nice.

we're supposed to get little dustings pretty much every day this week but only about an inch or less each day. I have a season pass, but I like to wait until there's more real snow on the ground and in the trees

i think i'll go to mt snow n save my ticket cause i'm only going to be able to go to killington once (no car or license and it's a 2 and a half hours away so my parents don't want to drive me). would i even be able to do the half pipe at killington? last year after i got a rental board i was able to do a black diamond only falling twice (it was icy and i lost edge once and the other time i thought that a huge gouge in the snow was just black snow, ya there's such a thing as black snow). i probably could have done better but i left immediately after wards so i don't know what to call my skill level.
