Windham Mtn 3-10-10 - Snowboarding Forum

Me and a few guys ( and 1 girl ) went to Windham for some spring riding. I was skeptical at first because there was no snow driving there, but higher up, proved me wrong. There was a lot of snow for East Coast standards, and i was glad that there was even more in between the trees.

We were pretty much jumping off of any natural feature that we can find

would you reccomend going there? im planning on going to whiteface on tuesday but kind of dont feel like driving that far

yea if ur going to go there on tue, then there should be plenty of snow left

Wow didn't realize there was still that much snow left. I'm gonna try and make it next week.

I haven't been there in ages since I dislocated my elbow on one of those infamous last runs.

still plentyyyyyyyy of base there! i went on 3/1 right after the big snowstorm and conditions where perfect there... went again today 3/18 it was def getting sloppy slushy but it was like 60... just make sure you wax with a spring wax (i used hertels spring)it makes all the dif at that temp ur out of range for cold n all temp waxes. bc a lot of ppl there where still on their cold waxes and where def struggling through the flats but i had no prob. u will get wet tho!
