i ride mt high, its about 1.5 hours from me so you can't beat the convenience. Bear just isn't worth the drive up the mountain for me for a day trip. Mammoth is awesome when conditions are good. I went to northstar at tahoe for the first time and it was awesome!

It depends on what you like to do.So Cal terrain is ok,Mammoth/June better,Tahoe probably the best[Lots to choose from ].Bear/Summit..good park type stuff,Snow Valley a little closer[not sure about them as I haven't been there in a while].Baldy...last to get it,1st to lose it,but when it's on it has steep/great terrain.Mt High, lots of terrain and freeway close + night boarding ,I went to Mt Waterman[only 3 lifts] last week.Hadn't been since the early 90's.Great terrain, long drive to get there because of the fires, but worth it. Sierra Summit[near Fresno]haven't been to in a while but I remember it as fun.
