No I didn't get around to it, but since I'm bored and don't have any appointments until after 5pm I'll type one out and post what pics I have.
It was the best trip to Co. to date, it snowed a lot while we were out there. I got my first little taste of backcountry snowmobiling and boarding. Some pics from Vail pass ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I never did get some of the pics and vids from my now ex girlfriend we broke up shortly after getting back. I wish we could have spent more time on Vail pass, but the polaris over heated and blew a cylinder I spent most of the trip at A-basin, I fell in love with the place. The crowds that time of year were light, and tons of snow. Hiked my first bowl, and ripped it. My last day at the basin there was a semi(diesel tanker) wreck on the pass above the parking lot, the driver made it but was hurt pretty bad from what I could find out. That closed the pass down from about 10am til close so the place was deserted. The house we stayed at was pretty nice, not off the hook like the year before, but still nice. With 6 of us splitting the bill it ran 75 a night, much better then a motel. Plus cooking your own meals saves some bucks. The weather couldn't have been better, it flipped from blue bird to dumping off and on the whole week. ![]()
