Cool, i'll appreciate any feedback. I've been boarding for 2 years now, I do the black diamonds at our local park in southern indiana but ya...its indiana...not the rockies :-)

Which southern IN park? Paoli or perfect north? Is this your first trip out west? Jackson is awesome, there is riding there for all levels

A-B it's 2.2 miles top to bottom. The longest cat-track down is 14 miles.

Corbet's is worth looking at from above, but in the end I pussed out. Even with the goat path, it was like dropping into an S-shaped water slide and being spit out onto a 45 degree slope at 35 mph.

To get there, go under the East Ridge chairlift (remnant from when they were rebuilding the tram, but no longer operational) and follow the ropes down to the entrance. From there, traverse right to get back onto Rendezvous Bowl as your heart rates slows to normal!

Trip out on my JH Mentor getting some backcountry. He uses ski poles which is a trip but it works so well on all those long cat-tracks.

A bunch of the local snowboarders had collapsible ski poles on their packs. Traversing on a board blows. I'm definitely getting a pair for next year.

KYSnowboarder - Hey there, we live in Evansville and spent most weekends at Paoli Peaks. We did go over to Perfect North once this winter. We really liked PN except the lift lines were REALLY long, 30 minutes + the day we were there. This will be our 2nd trip out west. We went to Eldora in Colorado last year. I didn't have the skills to enjoy it really. But this year I think i'll be able to enjoy Jackson Hole
