Just thought I'd put up a vid of me in the slackcountry in Nozawa Nagano. All lift accessed with a little hiking on top.
Just a word of warning if you do go here and want to do some runs like this be with a local who knows the way. You can get lost easily or into worse trouble. Many of these clips are from 2 years back (my 2nd year boarding) and some from the start of last season (my 3rd year on a board). Last season I improved a lot and am throwing bigger jumps, spins and grabs now. Any constructive criticism or tips are welcome. šŽ—Vlƒ}ƒbƒNƒX‚ƒz[ƒ€ƒy[ƒWš The link to the vid is from my home page which is all in Japanese, its gone all funky but the link still works if you click it. Can't wait for this years season. Last edited by dreampow; 10-15-2011 at 07:53 PM. |

Thanks, I most definitely was having a blast.
As you can see the pow here is great and honestly these clips aren't even from the best pow days. We just don't bother taking vids on those days because we are too caught up enjoying every turn. I thoroughly recommend a trip here at some point. |

The slackcountry terrain is some of the best in Nozawa IMO. I've been to a few places and it just has a lot of variation and natural features to hit. The half pipe like place is amazing. Have to wait til late January to get in there though as the snow has to build up over the lower vegetation.
Maybe another 6 weeks till its on with proper powder. Dreaming about the powder regularly. |
