I actually saw on TV last week in Japan that Aomori is getting particularly a lot of snow. It would be great for boarding but living day to day must be tough. Do you live in Japan? What do you do? (you can pm me)

Yeah I've lived here for years and I plan on many more. Day to day is just fine man. we deal with it for 6 months straight. just got 15 inches today, but the driveways cleared and streets are scraped, everybody in a 300 mile radius has dedicated snow tires on all their cars and life keeps moving. When a 15 inch snowstorm hits Nashville TN it looks like a holy hell disaster because everyone is driving summer tires sliding into each other, people bum rush grocery store because they think its apocalypse when it's really just something that doesn't doesn't phase people who are prepared and acclimated. I wish I lived CLOSER to the mountains I wish my house was surrounded by powder fields all day and the only way to leave was on a snowboard, or perhaps a snowmobile that goes 100MPH. haha
