Hey everybody, let me introduce myself first, because I am new to this fourm. I am Maciek from Poland.
I am looking for a spot to go for a month next winter somewhere in california or colorado. Since I am planning my trip unfortunately lonely people from other countries or US are welcome to join me. I am thinking mostely of bear mountain, because I ride park mostly and it is much cheaper then mammoths because of the season ticket. Can anyone advice me whether it is good choice for a month? Or where could be better for this price or even cheaper? Also I don't know US weather in winter from practice so it would be cool if someone adviced me which month is the best to plan my trip. Places to sleep, job offers in area are welcomed, I want to cut the cost to the minimum Thanks! |

Bear has a serious lack of snow compared to Northstar. The thing is most of the US is experiencing a lack of snow. If it's park you want to do, Breckenridge probably has the best one going right now. Still a lack of snow. If I were you, I'd reconsider and go to Canada.

Please do not come all the way from poland to BEAR MOUNTAIN in southern california!
Do you want to be around a bunch of bro high schoolers that came up from orange county for the day and see brown spots and mud everywhere!? Or do you want a great mountain with good people and unbelievable scenery? |
