Spent two weeks in Niseko where it dumped super light powder almost every day. Also with the Tsunami and Fukushima and all that, crowds were way down. Freshies all day every day..

Absolutely awesome conditions mate. What did you use to edit the footage?
2 things to consider for next year, a longer gopro pole so you can see more in the frame and a longer board!

Used Premier Pro CS5.5 for the edit. takes some getting used to but it's damn good, and there's heaps of help on the net for anything you don't know how to do.

Agree on both your points, The pole I used was off a guy at my backpackers who snapped his pole and I just duct taped the gopro to the end, bit short and a pain to carry when not using it, need one of those proper telescopic poles for sure. Was happy enough with my board (Custom X 158) but saw quite a few fish boards around, would be keen as to try rent one of those next time.

Premier Pro is really damn good for video editing. Once you get used to it, you can even earn from editting your co-skier's video for a minimal fee, maybe enough to buy a new ski equipment or rent a vacation home at Vacation Quest to shoot for more skiers. )
