Okemo 2-22-2012 - Snowboarding Forum

Not really too much of a TR. Was in southern VT last week Sunday - Thursday with the GF. Rode Bromley Monday & Tuesday; it was her trip to book and she really likes it there. Agreed to hit up Okemo on Wednesday and had a blast. They had 88 trails open, of which perhaps 25 or so were legit. Mostly sunny, mid 20's and they had 1-2" of fresh overnight.

We rode mostly Solitude and the South Peak areas to avoid people. The Jackson gore area was cool, but crowded with the slopeside fashion show. No pics, but I did bring my GPS and import my track into Google Earth: 38.7mi (19+ mi downhill), 21k ft vert., and I think I missed a run after mid-day Jameson's break at the bar. Not too bad for a Wednesday
