Nov 8th is the planned opening date. If we get enough snow before the 8th they will open. I've ridden some DEEP powder in october here before, but you can't plan on an early opening. Last year we barely had enough snow to get open by opening day.

Planning on hitting up Mammoth for the first time this season. Lemme know when you guys go! I'm down to wake up and drive at 0100 and make the first lifts there

I went camping up in the Eastern Sierra Nevadas this past week and was drooling at the site of Mammoth as we drove by. Dying..
