Hey everyone, I am planning a trip with some friends for next year to go to Breckenridge for a week from New years day to January 7. I would just like to know, on average, how much of the terrain is open by then?

I was there around the same time 2011 (just past) i would say after chatting to a lot of people on here and the locals at Breck that they definitely had a down year this season and there was roughly 50% open when i was there.

That being said who knows, the year before i believe almost 100% was open at christmas/new years period.

Ohh yeah the other thing is you are really asking people to predict the weather a year in advance, probably not the smartest question being asked around here right now.
