Found a deal sponsored by Liftopia called The Mountain Collective The Mountain Collective Pass: Alta, Aspen/Snowmass, Jackson Hole, Squaw Valley / Alpine Meadows. 4 Resorts, 2 days at each for $349 @ Alta, Aspen Snowmass, Jackson Hole, & Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows. Anyone ever hear of this deal before or know something about it? Sounds pretty damn good to me, although I'm pretty sure Alta is a ski only resort? Either way, 2 days at the remaining 3 locations still sounds amazing
I just see it having very limited appeal. Sure, it's a good deal if you plan on making multiple ski/snowboard vacations this winter, but how many people are planning on doing that?
I looked into that as well as I am making a trip for a week out to Jackson Hole in January. But, at the end of the day for one week it didn't make sense. If I planned on making another trip out West this season I would have definitely picked this up.
This is a fairly decent deal. If you ride 6 days at any one of these resorts, or if you ride 2 days each at any two of these resorts, you would be coming out ahead. (assuming ~$95 per day lift)
But, fuck alta. Out of all the great resorts in Utah, they partner with the one that doesn't allow snowboarders... pretty lame.
This deal would be:
$394 + 4 lift tickets at $47 (50% discount and two free lift tickets) for a total of $582
Of course this is only taking into consideration lift tickets and not their hotel discount. Which I won't need this year.
