Hey all,

I'm considering a 3-4 week stay in Nelson, Rossland, Kimberley, or Fernie, or really any mountain that's relatively close to Cranbrook airport, can provide affordable accommodations with internet and full kitchen, and relatively easy transportation to hill/groceries/airport.

I've looked through OWNERDIRECT services (Worst, PAIN IN THE A....), VRBO, and a couple of others, and all have quoted me rates between 3500 and 5000 for 3 weeks.

Unfortunately, I can't even FIND any 1-BDRM or Studio type rentals. They don't exist. Everything that I've had to inquire about has been minimum 2-3 bedrooms and 2.5 bath.

Advice would be appreciated!

I will be without a car and will likely start off with a week at Red with a few friends (Jan 25-Feb 1st roughly).
