Ski patrol was saying it was something like a 100-year storm (69" over 48 hours). 39" at the base, over 5 FEET at the top of Tye Mill. 3% water content too, COLD SMOKE! HUGE HUGE HUGE props to Stevens Pass Ski Patrol for working their tails off to make is safe for us. Everything was late opening for avy control, 9:30 for Chief, after 10 for both Hogs and Sky, around noon for Tye and the backside. Sooo deep, sooo light. Knee to waist deep turns pretty much all day. There were a couple runs on the backside that were chest deep. No joking, it was incredible. Didn't have my GoPro yesterday and my P&S was low on battery so I didn't get too many pics, but here's what I got.....

I missed this thread until now, but I was there that day too! So amazing, and will be a long time until it's replicated!! I went up to Stevens again the day after, and I almost want to say it was better since the snow had settled a bit, the crowd wasn't nearly as crazy, and there was still plenty of pow to be found (I wouldn't use the word stashes since it was basically everywhere).
