Hunter 12/15/2012 - Snowboarding Forum

Rocking it at Hunter today. Granular but was open from top to bottom. Lots of fun to get some good long runs in. Towards the end of the day the wind picked up and it started to ice over a bit.

Shredded it on a 149.5 Arbor Draft uber noodle...it was a blast taking it to the brink of disaster down Hellsgate.

I'll be there on Friday so I'm hoping for some natural snow this week.

The one thing that I was very dissapointed at was how they do not offer any college discounts, and you have to jump through hoops to get military/police/fireman discounts. For the biggest mountain in that area, you would think that they would be more accommodating...

anyone been to hunter or that general area since this thread? i'm thinking about taking a short day trip this weekend
