Hi.. Im looking for a long weekend getaway with my girl.. I live in Miami..planning to go from like Feb 28th to March 5th or so...
I would love to go as far as Oregon.. Montana.. but it seems to freaking far for such a short time..
I have a calling for Colorado, but where?
Maybe Utah?
I want a nice town, resort .. descent snow.. thats all...

I really dont know either at all...

Everything is far from Florida, I suggest you go somewhere that has actually gotten snow the last 2 years (not Colorado)

I'd hit Colorado - they have tons of nice towns that are super fun, decent snow this year, not much of it though. But the rockies are calling for a big end of Feb/March possibly. Closest to Florida as well.

It really all breaks down to what you want to ride.

Are you going with friends? Do you want to party and have fun?

edit: missed the part where you said girlfriend.

Do you just want to ride?

If so what? Park? Powder? Big Mountain type stuff? Do you just want to blast groomers?

If you hit anywhere in the PNW you are likely to have a good powder day, which everyone needs.

Jackson is a good medium, cool town, best resort as far as terrain goes in the United States - they have had great recent years as far as snowfall.

edit: dude I'd hit Jackson Hole for sure.
