I emailed Rome about this last week, but still no response, so I'm gonna share it here (Also, I know theres an SDS rep that visits the site now and again
These are my binding plates from the white/gold 390's I bought exactly a year ago (or maybe it was two years ago? )Anyway, onto the pics: ![]() ![]() See the hair-line cracks? They haven't reached the edges yet, but if experience has taught me anything, it's only a matter of time. This is NOT a warning not to buy 390's: they've been the most fun, most responsive and easy to control bindings I've ever used... just make sure you have 'em nice in -finger- tight before each day on the hill. That being said; where to go for replacements?! I want Rome boots too... Folsom I think is my choice, and experience(s) with those would be appreciated. |

Kris, he's a link to the other Rome thread where the Rome CSR commented on warranty:
http://www.snowboardingforum.com/238741-post16.html Let us know how this situation works out for you. BTW, Sanctions (I think that's what they're called) up by Bathurst and Steeles carries Rome products. Swing by there to check the boots and potentially get replacements for the discs. |

i just bought a pair of 390s and i like them a lot. i emailed rome about adapter plates for the burton system and it took them 4 weeks just to answer an email.
i like the hardware but their service, based on this experience, leaves much to be desired. alasdair |
