2014 Rossignol Angus Review

Figured I'd pop in and review this board. About me: I'm 6'4" 205, riding 13 years, mostly groomers and park.

I actually got this board at the end of the 12/13 season and had a chance to get a couple days on it. I also have ridden it twice this year so far.

I got the 159. I would say it has good pop and a medium flex. It is easy for me to butter around. It stays stable at high speeds. I can ride as fast as the hill will allow The sintered base is fast and durable. The top sheet seems to nick fairly easy. Overall I really like this board. It feels very stable and playful at the same time.

My buddy rode my 2013 DC Ply and then this and said he liked it way more. I would have to ride them back to back as I enjoyed the Ply as well. I have a friend that is a die hard Lib Tech guy and he couldn't believe how nice this Rossignol handled.

Great to hear you enjoyed your new deck.

The Amptek profile that Rossi has on a number of their boards is one of the most versatile profiles out there. FWIW, I believe that RCR profiles are the best profile for most riders.

I am riding a One Mag and love it.

Get it. Wax it. Ride it.

Yea I like the R/C/R, but am also starting to like my R/F/R, board. I also have a full camber Capita Stairmaster Extreme.

I don't think you can go wrong with any Rossi board now-a-days.

After riding this more this season, I've really come to like this board. It handles pow great and has been stable over any jump I've hit.
