I detuned the tip and tail of my neversummer sl just in case, I just made sure to err on the side of caution so i don't touch the effective edge.

I was going to start a new thread on a similar...

I got antsy and bought mine 2 weeks ago. While I'd like to think I'm progressing in the park, I really spend 90% carving so the highback response will suit me well.

General rule is just to tighten them as far as they go with normal force. Don't overdo it, and remember to always check the baseplate screws each day before your ride since they naturally come loose...

To echo other peoples advice, some brands will just give you problems regardless. A lot of people swear by Burton's, but their shoes just don't fit my toes at all. Even within brands I had to suffer...

I think you should definitely only consider the 153 or 156. I'm 5-10 pounds heavier than you and ride a 153 Neversummer Sl. I feel very stable on it at high speeds, and while my board is a bit...

Thegoodride.com reviewed them and I tried them on in the store. Very flexible side to side (more than the cartel) but stiff when you push straight back. I was in between sizes and went with the capos.

You're pretty much at the stage where you just need to try them on in the store and see which one fits your boot and the board the best. All solid choices. Seems to me the Capo is going to be the...

Have to say, I'm a fan of the Volcom facemask. Rode it all last season and it didn't freeze on me (which is what the white mesh is for). I had some burton bandana the year before that and it would be...

I'll let someone else recommend a specific board but I think a 160 is a bit too big for your weight if your focus is park riding. I'm mostly all mountain freestyle, weigh 160-165 and ride a 153...

Will you report back about how the Capo's are treating you? I just picked up a pair and would love to hear from other riders. The high back feels really stiff so I'm hoping it's still playful enough....

Just to add to the confusion, I figure if you add forward lean to the equation it gets more complicated. I realize these are small adjustments that may take a very discerning rider to notice, but if...

I think almost all modern bindings have asym highbacks. Even if they look symmetrical, the flex pattern usually gives more in one direction than the other. I've heard people saying that you don't...

Good to know, may pay more attention to the f22's next year. I don't know if I'm the right person to ask about fit, since I actually sized up half a size to a 10 (long story, high arches, years of...
