It's really not that gnarly. I weigh 160, and am on the upper end of intermediate in terms of skill. I have owned and loved a 156 and 159. It's fairly stiff, and definitely charges, but I don't...

I believe that's the women's Proto Type Two. The "Type Two" on the graphic is just less prevalent. Proto HD is gone, and Type Two is the replacement.

It's a lot of fun on groomers too. It's not so drastic of a shape that it's weird outside of powder. It's firmer than the West, rails turns, but the original RC profile make it a little more surfy...

I'm using, and liking, Union TRices on the West. It's a very middle of the road kind of board, so most bindings are going to be just fine on it. Just get what you're most stoked on.

I get the squirreliness thing. On the NS side I think the Ripsaw profile has greatly mitigated that, without losing the playfulness. OP, since you said All Mountain/Freestyle I say look to the...

Gah, so close yet so far away. I'm dying to see the full shot of that Twenty Five. Thanks again for doing this, and for your patience with everyone's requests.

If I was a betting man I'd say it's the women's version of the Type Two. Men's seems to be called the Proto Type Two for next year, and you can make out the word Proto at the top of the board (I...

If you're taking requests, I'd love a full spread shot of the NS line up if you took one. Union, particularly the Atlas and TRice as well.

Yeah, the fisherman in me had the same initial reaction. Bass makes me think Southeast. A cutthroat trout would have been perfect. That said, I still think it looks awesome.

Asymbol is rad. Super nice folks to deal with too. Don't get too hung up on originals. The quality of the prints is really outstanding, and not like you're buying some glorified poster. I just...

Ripsaw is noticeably more aggressive than the West, but it's not like it's a handful to ride or anything. If you were looking to replace your Custom for everything I might suggest the West, but...

I rode a West 59 a good bit last year, and bought a production one in the same size this year. If they've changed the flex at all, it's imperceptible to me. I also wish it was slightly stiffer,...

Those are 3 different boards, answered above after each.

If you truly want camber dominant the Sims boards are NS construction, that are essentially full camber with a smidge of early rise.

Sorry if I missed it, but does your boot size necessitate the wide? I'm 5'11" 160 riding the West in a 59 (60X is basically the wide version of that size), and I think that's perfect. Amazingly...

I've been asking around, and the shops don't seem to know themselves, unless they're just being coy with me. The impression I've been given is that it will be closer to Christmas, potentially even...

Exactly, and you probably can't go wrong with either. While I ended up preferring the 59, I did always think that the 56 was capable beyond its size (I felt like it rode pretty similar to my 58...

West is definitely forgiving. It's a pretty mellow, but fun ride overall. It's been a couple of years since I rode an SL, but if I had to compare the flex of the West to the SL based on memory I'd...

If you're flexible on the graphic I have a 2012 (the gold one) that I'd be willing to sell. It's actually brand new. Found it last Summer as old stock in a shop, and never rode it last year.

If I had to create my ultimate board it would probably be a slightly stiffer/damper West, so in that respect I guess it was a little burlier. That said, I really love it for what it is, and with the...
