Looking for surfy and damp freeride board

Hi guys,

I regularly ride with a few friends who are pretty good and fast skiers. I’ve noticed having problems keeping up sometimes on my 154 park board. I want to get into the freeride board game...

I really like my Company IPOs. They have a great allround feel. Definitely among the better ones I rode.

Two things I didn't like a lot:
The toe strap adjustment lever opens pretty easily,...

First of all you don't really need a wide board. Maybe a midwide if it makes you feel more comfortable. Especially for your park board you will want something more maneuverable.

As for your list:...

I ride the Coda and used to own the Targas which I used on a different board. In my opinion they would be too stiff for the Coda. The 390s should be a much better fit.

No, not too stiff. The 390 Boss have a middle-of-the-road flex. They will do a good job on the Proto.

For mainly park you can get away with a 158. The Proto runs 2-3 cms longer due to the blunted tips. It's on the lower end for your weight but it sounds like a good board choice for you.

I can see the logical reasoning behind this but it doesn't work that way. When using your toe side you don't just use the balls of your feet but also the toes. It is true that it's not just the toes...

I would consider sizing up a little bit if I were you. I am 180 lbs, ride a little park but like you mostly all mountain and my boards are usually 159 or 160. It just gives you a bit of extra...

I'm 180 lbs and ride the 59. In your case I'd go with the 57. Good compromise between stable and playful. If you want to have it a bit more stable and good for charging you can easily go with the 59...

For buttering take the Draft. It's pretty damn noodely and in combination with the rocker it's so incredibly easy to press and play around. No need for a camber board if that's the purpose of the...

Bump in the base? (pic)

Heya,

just prepared for a week in the Alps and found this bump on the base of my Yes Big City. It's about 2 inches (5cm) long and doesn't feel like a bubble. Meaning, I can't push it flat. Didn't...
