Blackberry users. - Page 3 - Snowboarding Forum

Well after this discussion I went and picked up the new Storm 2 and got rid of the Storm 1. I loved my Storm 1 and am a power user when it comes to blackberry. It does everything for me. Storm 2 is just amazing. I sold my Storm 1 on craigslist, and worked a deal at BestBuy for the Storm 2. All in all, after selling S1 the S2 only cost me 29 bucks! That's how I roll. ha ha.

I played with the Droid but could not fall in love with it. My problem with that phone is this:
It has a pullout keyboard to type on with the touchscreen phone. On the keyboard there is about 1/6 taken up by arrow keys to scroll... Why not make the keyboard bigger and remove the arrow keys.. If I want to scroll I'll just TOUCH the touch screen. Phone was a great phone but I couldn't fall for it.

I question this as well I have one and have had no issues with it. It's been even better since the OS upgrade. And I couldn't get into the droid either from the few times I've played with it.

I had the 2g iPhone was a great iPod but a POS as a phone. I had the pearl and it was a good phone but a shitty bberry. I had the S1, was a shitty phone and shitty bberry though the new OS has it working much better. I played with the Driod when I got my S2and I was super impressed with the quality of its OS, and while the multi-task part is good because it allows you to do more than 1 thing at a time I can see it getting annoying as your battery dies quickly. I only got the S2 over the Droid because I need the Bberry for work as we have an enterprise server so to get my work emails I have to be on a bberry. Love the S2 though

Yeah like I said above the S2 is great and I don't regret getting one instead of the Droid.

Just made the switch from Storm 1 to Droid and loving it! I just miss my BBM but thats about it.. haha

Like I said I thought about the Droid for a long hard time... Couldn't convince myself to make the switch though.

awesome! i am actually researching phones right now, haha. was there anything in specific that made you get it over the eris?

i also heard theres another android coming to verizon later this month...
