suggestion - Snowboarding Forum

Is it possible to change the format of the regional section so that each region has the ability to post threads as opposed to having it as one single thread. that way you dont have to go through all 80+ pages to see what was written. the other forums i belong to are like that and it is a lot easier for people to use and it seems more organized if each topic is its own thread. thanks!

We can do that, but it's an awful lot of "smaller" forums. Not sure if we really need it or not. What do the rest of the natives think?

I kind alike the single thread for the regions. It makes for 1 thing to follow.

Kind of my thought too. You can create separate topics for any regional in the general regional forum. If you are talking minutia about the rockies, the dedicated thread seems good enough. As this forum gets larger we may revisit it. Much larger snow forums like TGR is doing just fine with basically one dedicated snow forum. So I am not really convinced that regional forums here are needed. Again, though, I am leaving it up to the natives. So speak up.

it's not a bad idea.

but i think it's fine how it is right now. we'd end up with a ton of subforums with hardly any threads in them

Pretty much what I was thinking. We have the option to make an individual thread in the regional section so, currently, I do not think it is necessary to have sub-forums for each region. There would be too much mouse clicking, I hate that.

I understand where you guys are coming from. I just think it could be a little more organized if you had a subforum. Riders would be able to post if they want to meet at a moountain or if they are selling something. all the regional questions about mountains could be posted. Its just an idea because it works great in getting people together on the other forum i frequent.
