Not necessarily. A couple suppers ago I bought a case of glow sticks and I'd bring them to music festivals all over the place and put a whole bunch of them on and bring piles of backups and trade glow sticks for hugs. It wound up as a lot of free hugs and glowage for a whole lot of people. It also scored me a whole bunch of miscellaneous nugs etc. In the end I wound up way in the plus for the $80 I payed for 5,000 glow sticks.
