i've kind of felt we needed more mods for a while now. killz and snowwolf are pretty much the only active ones right now. sedition and boarder are mods but are barely on. maybe its time to pass the torch on to a few regs.

No, he was just making bs posts all over. That's why he got up to 33, and now him and another one are back. Gonna be funny when their ISP's drop them.

To the admins, what about manual email confirmation? Instead of a user being able to register and post right away an admin would have to confirm it physically.

I know some sites can have an anti-proxy script, not sure about the forums, or banning a range of IP addresses as well if he's just a script kiddie and is using a half-assed IP changer.

Relax Carmen. We're doing just fine here. Even with removing/adding mods, the spamming troll douchenozzles will manage to harrass the site. We are just not going to get 24x7.

It is looking like we'll have to make some changes with the staff. Not saying it's going to happen today, tomorrow isn't promising either...

i actually agree with carmen here...for the most part...except i would have worded it a tad nicer

and i wouldnt have thrown TOS into the mix.

the part he is right about tho is dismissing some of the old mods that arent around anymore and reassign the roles to forum regulars. Boarder, kirkwood, NZ and sedition were once regs but now most arent around at all and others much less than they used to me. Gary and Scott are the ONLY ones keeping an eye on things around here and believe it or not they have lives too and cant be on here 24 hours a day. IMHO its time to add a few more sets of eyes.
